Thanks VW 91 I may give that a try then. I have noticed that older BMW and SAAB wheels have this problem a good bit.

Whats the Best Way to Fix This?

Yeah I figured the clear coat has been damaged already but anything to make the dark black dust particles less noticeable would be great. I hate having to explain to customers why I'm unable to fix or clean the wheels perfectly. I know its not my fault or anything but its very noticeabe(to me at...

Whats the Best Way to Fix This?

Thanks for the info guys! I was checking out the P21S gel that they say you can leave sit on wheels for a very long time. Maybe it could break it down if I leave it sit on there for a day lol

Whats the Best Way to Fix This?

Cool thank you! Does anyone know if AG sells any popular acid based wheel cleaners?

Whats the Best Way to Fix This?

I don't ever come across wheels this bad but when I do vigorous scrubbing with pure wheel cleaner concentrate doesn't do anything. I'm pretty sure a wire brush will scratch the clear coat pretty bad. I know this is caused from brake dust just sitting on the clear and becoming corrosive while...

Partial Correction on a Black STi

My client says a cop did it at a party he was at. He saw "a fat cop" walk passed it and his belt with the holsters on it rubbed right up against it. Anyone who owns a Subaru knows why they are so awesome;) lol

Partial Correction on a Black STi

So one of my clients who owns a black 2006 Subaru Sti is planning on getting a full paint correction done by me here in spring but he recently aquired a scratch/scuff that he didnt want to wait to have removed. The imperfection on the car was a bit large but not too deep. As some of us know...

    P21S Concours On My STi

Lol 50's would be awesome right now. Here lately its been about 5-30°. Only reason I detailed my car was cause I can wash it in the heated wash bay at work then I do the rest in my garage with a propane heater. I could barely stand to take these after pics when I pulled it out of the garage lol.

    P21S Concours On My STi

So I was bored on Sunday and decided to do a minor detail on my car. After washing the surface was ready for wax. I still have some Klasse sealant on there too from about 6 months ago that's still holding up very well. I also used Poorboys Natural Look Dressing on the tires and mud flaps...

    Beyond Reflections-Recent Details

Just thought I'd share some pics of some cars I've done in the past couple months. I pretty much use about all the same products on the these cars except I've labled which polish/wax/sealant I used for each car. None of these customers wanted correction but mainly just sealed for winter. 2010...

Look What I Just Found At Work

So I was cleaning out my wash bay here at work and found a box stashed away with these in it. I don't have any experience with these products so I have no idea if it's good stuff or not. They've had to been there for years. Think they're still good? There all about 50-75% full and haven't frozen...
