Black, very soft clear.

I did bfwd over BL/V7 and was very happy. I also use the V7 to remove the bfwd dust. Works great. Good plan. In fact, I think it needs a sealant to look the best. At least on my black it does.

I like Optimum Metal Polish, but I'm not trying to fix / correct the looks of anything. For something more aggressive, I like Mother's Chrome Polish. If need more aggressive than that, then, TW I suppose.

It was very hot and humid and I didn't leave on for long at all (5 minutes) but it appeared dry. I applied by hand. Paint was clean with Prima Amigo by machine prior to application. Sounds like drying time / apply more thin by machine next time?

Both 111 and 501 leave my black milky / hazy. This bums me out because I like the DG line of products. I must be doing something wrong? I understand the 501 may be a little too aggressive for my soft clear on black, but I really don't understand the 111 issue...the 501 seemed to wipe...

I can't imagine why AW would be considered overrated. To me, it's the best QD at any price point. Maybe it has something to do with paint types or what's under it. I love it.

I just used 111 on my hood to test it. I only left it on long enough to flash off. It left a hazy look that after using a QD to help remove, still didn't seem 100% clean. Did I not wait long enough to remove? Or is there some other problem. Paint is black with very soft clear coat.

It's hard to argue against the Meguiar's line, due to its vastness. If DG had some good compounds, I'd be tempted to go for them.

Disney offers some discounts if you sign your kids of for one of the educational programs. I assume there is some write off for them doing this. But anyway, the tickets for the whole family were discounted because we signed up the kids for a class.

I got the idea for this thread from Detailing World. This is a hard question because we geeks like to constantly try new and different products. But if you could only use one line of products, what would it be?

DG 901 car wash and DG AW are two of my favs. I like the Menzerna, too. Can't comment on the other items because I haven't tried them.

What car show is it? Not that I can help, just being nosy. NSRA Nats are in Louisville this weekend...
