Did you get a kit? Thinking of pulling the trigger on one and was wondering which kit is the best value.

This would be for personal use, but I tend to buy the best that I can afford (best mid-range?) in the hopes that I won't have to buy a replacement. The more uses for it that I can find, then the more "worth it" it'll be. If your budget was $1000-$1200, what would you buy? A 4000C? A Daimer?

Is the 4000C considered a step up then? In the $500-$700, I would've gotten the VX-5000. At $800, I'd rather spend more money to "upgrade".

I already think that they're pricing themselves out of the mid-range market; which is why I'm looking for "next tier" recommendations.

Looks like the price is now $795. At this new price, are there other steamers that you guys would recommend?
