    Rate my Swirls!!!

I agree, those don't look too bad, except for that 1st photo. You my need to do 2 passes with UC if the first pass doesn't cut too well. Do you plan on using a DA, or by hand? (hope you say DA) If you feel UC did it's job, then UP will cut the really fine small marks.

Your favorite Leather Cleaner + Conditioner?

For those of you that have used Griot's Leather Care Spray... what do you think of the smell? I used it a few times, but it seems like really cheap football leather smell... possibly a hint of ammonia/urine smell? Not the best smell for a leather cleaner... Anyone else not like this smell? I...

fightnews, did you ever use it in the sun, or notice any streaking when using it in very hot weather?

McKee's 37 Rinse Free Wash & Wax as a waterless wash?

I'm not sure how I missed this product, but I guess I did. I know McKee's has the N-914 which is very similar to Meguiar's D114... no wax/sealant/gloss-enhancing properties and is designed primarily as a rinseless wash for paint-prep shops. Now I find there is a Wash + Wax version of this...

    WG Uber Rinseless Wash questions

NEW QUESTION: Is it possible to use WGURW as an interior detailer? I do NOT plan on using this on leather... but any plastic / leatherette / vinyl / etc. If it is safe for exterior plastic trim and rubber, I would "think" it is safe for interior plastics and vinyl?

How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?

For the longest time, I've always hand waxed my cars... but that's been using cheap OTC products. This year was the first time I used higher end products and a DA polisher to apply Sealant to my cars. No going back now! As long as you have the right tools and products, fast and easy with no...

Your favorite Leather Cleaner + Conditioner?

Hey all, So I'm wanting to know what everyone uses for their leather care products. These are the requirements for this list: - Must be a Cleaner + Conditioner in 1 bottle - Must leave a satin/low-gloss finish - If possible, dilutable - Routine cleaner (not too caustic/abrasive) So far, I've...

WGDGPS 3.0, is this a Sealant + Glaze?

Okay... so lets say I want to have the car "shine" more than what the Sealant can provide. Is it a bad idea to put it on a Daily Driver? From my understanding, because a glaze lasts very short and is first to bond to the clear coat... any long-lasting sealant on top of it will only stick for as...

WGDGPS 3.0, is this a Sealant + Glaze?

Hi all, So I have 1 car with WG DGPS 3.0 applied with 2 coats, and it shines like a mirror on the white car (2010 Nissan Altima) after doing paint correction and buffing. I applied 1 layer of Meguiars #7 Show Car Glaze... didn't really notice much of a difference. Do you guys know if WGDGPS is...

    Labeling Bottles?

I actually just bought some Avery 6-label address sheets for my bottles. I put a logo and what it is on the bottle so I know exactly that it is... even add the dilution ratio to it. If a 6-panel page is too large, you could try 12-panel size address label. I have a color laser printer, so I can...

    Car hit with overspray

    1) Try something like Stoner Tarminator 2) Try a super degreaser... even something like Super Clean on that specific spots (do not spray entire hood... just dab on towel and hold on spot) 3) Try clay bar 4) If you must... may need to use strong IPA or Paint Thinner to get that off (*cringes*)

    WG Uber Rinseless Wash questions

Hi all, So I'm currently using Uber Waterless Wash PLUS, but was interesting in the WGURW product as well as a waterless product. My questions for the URW are: 1) The product says it has "gloss enhancers"... does that mean it has some type of synthetic wax/sealant? 2) If you use WGURW, is it...

    A Plethora of Choices

Most of the products are either: 1) Aimed for professionals in PAINT environments 2) Aimed for professionals (or consumers) required "dedicated" products 3) Aimed for professionals (or consumers) that need a 2in1 or 3in1 product Meguiars M105/M205 fall in the 1st category, along with many other...

Finishing the job after outside overnight

If it was in the garage and you're really afraid of "dust" I would have said QD. Depending on how dusty it is outside and/or rain... I would say Waterless if you're really worried QD wont' cut it. Just make sure the waterless doesn't have "wax" in it.

    A Plethora of Choices

You have to remember, the biggest difference between UC/UP vs M105/205 is the professional line is PAINT ENVIRONMENT safe... while UC/UP is not. They both use SMAT (older M105 Mirror Glaze uses MAT), which makes a minor difference. Yes, M105 cuts more aggressively, but I would stick with UC...

    Wolfgang Spritz Sealant

I considered buying the WG SS... but decided not to. I did buy WG DGPS and applied 2 layers of that before the winter came. I thought of the SS... but I already had 1 gallon of Meguiars D156 XPress wax. Sorry to ask... but does anyone know if the "Spritz Sealant" is considered a "topical...

    Drying Agent - Why Not?

I use a WW method, so need need for drying agents for me. Just use a D156 XPress spray wax after the WW and good for another 1-2 weeks. However, if I did need to do traditional wash of my car... I would use NO drying agent... and my intent would be to put on a new Sealant/Wax after the wash.

HELP, bug bug damage too much to repair?

UPDATE Here is a BEFORE and AFTER of the bumper. Had to do 7-passes using a Yellow still DA pad using Meguiars M105. I stopped, as I could not see any more orange peal... and worried I would go past the clear coat. I guess this is the best I can do... short of repaint this bumper TBH, this...

HELP, bug bug damage too much to repair?

UPDATE So I ran another 3 passes of a hard Yellow foam DA pad with Meguiars M105 again. Much better results now... hard to tell from afar the damage until you get fairly close. I'm wanting to do a few more passes... but I'm afraid if I do too many... it'll get down to the bare paint. (I'll try...
