    Your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner?

Okay... I just went to a shop that had some Griot's and smelled the Leather Care. OMG... smells like urethane! Awful smell... nothing like "real leather" smell Anyone know of a good leather cleaner/conditioner that smells like "real leather" ?

    Your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner?

Interesting: Griots = 3 McKees = 4 Others = 5 So... Griots vs McKee ? If anyone has used both... why pick one over the other?

    Your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner?

Okay, so this should be an interesting topic. What is your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner... and what type of car/brand does it smell like? I'm not interesting in which one cleans the best, is least slick, or anything like that. Lets be honest... modern leather is sealed with a...

Collinite 845 vs Griots BoS Liquid Wax vs OTHERS

Okay all, So after reading a lot of reviews... I decided to buy Griots BoS liquid wax. (read needs to be applied REALLY thin) How does it compare to Coolinite 845? I'm also wondering what everyone's "favorite" liquid carnauba wax is and why?

Engine bay cleaning - Meguiars Hyper Dressing vs. Synthetic X-Press Wax?

So here is an interesting question: When detailing your engine bay... does anyone know if Meguiars Hyper Dressing performs similar/same to Meguiars Synthetic XPress Spray Wax? I see people spraying the HD roughly 3:1 ratio with no wipe down and get great results. I have gallons of the Xpress...

    Best Glaze for Hand Application?

Okay, so I know most paint correction is best done by a DA polisher or other machine tool(s) due to speed and uniform application. Can anyone recommend a good Glaze that can be applied by hand? I'm probably only going to do this once a year or less, because I'm hoping proper paint sealant and...

Best Wax/Sealant for "Wet Look' for "Pearl White" car?

Forgot to mention... the car is a 2017 Civic Hatchback - Orchid White. I don't have the wax version because I also use it as a clay lube and need a non-wax version in case I need to do any paint correction. I still use a IPA solution, but no wax makes it easier. I clayed the hood several weeks...

Best Wax/Sealant for "Wet Look' for "Pearl White" car?

Hey All, So I've been trying several things, but I really haven't been too pleased with the results so far. I have a Pearl White car... and looking for the best (and long lasting) wet looking wax/sealant. I currently use JaxWax liquid carnauba wax every few months, and weekly use Meguiars...

    Waterless wash from Armor All

I was going to say try to seek out D114, but that is no longer being produced. D115 is okay... it's 1:4 ratio, so can only get 5 gallons out of it. Compare it to McKees N914, it is pretty much exactly the same thing as D114. Both supposed to be 1:128 for waterless wash... I think Wax stripping...

DIY or Pro Install? - 3M Crystalline Window Tint

Actually, because it is 3m Crystalline, the main reason I'm getting it is because of the IR (heat) block it achieves. 90% blocks roughly 40-45% IR heat compared to tint that is non-ceramic. If I didn't want the IR blocking... I would have gone with cheaper Color Stable or other brands like Llumar.

    Waterless wash from Armor All

Is that an aerosol can version!?!? That's scary... throw it in the trash can before you scratch your paint. I do a waterless wash, but use Meguiars/ONR and liberally spray my panels down until it is almost soaking wet then wipe. If too dirty for waterless, use rinseless method. If too dirty for...

DIY or Pro Install? - 3M Crystalline Window Tint

trailsnail: 50% Front-side windows is the minimum in my state. Rear-side/Rear have no limits, but would rather keep same % to make it look consistent. I'd rather not go any darker in case I go to other states, would get me pulled over for no reason. They can't ticket... but waste of my time.

DIY or Pro Install? - 3M Crystalline Window Tint

Hey all, So summer is around the corner, and I was planning on tinting my windows very soon. I plan on using 3M Crystalline Film for all my windows. 90% Windshield + 40% AS1 Bar 50% All Side Windows 50% Rear Window (Yes... my state does allows these tint levels) Question to everyone is: 1)...

Are Meguiars D101, D114, D156, D170 safe for EPDM Rubber?

Hi all I was wondering if people knew if the following Meguiars products are safe for EPDM Rubber? I know silicone is bad, so D160 All Saeson Dressing is out for me Im reading that petrolatum distillates/solvents are also harmful for EPDM Not sure if any of these contain them: Reading MSDS...

Longest lasting Synthetic Paint Sealant for Daily Driver? (poll)

Thank you everyone for your input I think some of the suggestions are Ceramic Coatings instead of sealants? Klaise and others mentioned are not "ceramic" are they? I'll probably do 3M Scotchguard myself, and though of putting ceramic on top of it might be a good idea? Thoughts?

Longest lasting Synthetic Paint Sealant for Daily Driver? (poll)

Hi all, I have a new car, and wanting to "protect" it as long as possible. I don't mind too much about "color enhancement" that carnauba does... more into "longest lasting" protection. 1) Lasts the longest between re-applications (1-2x per year) 2) Longest durability (harder to remove between...

Meguiars D101 APC vs D114 Waterless vs Mckee N-914 Waterless

Hi all, So I've been looking for an "all in one" product to use on my car. This is what I need it to do: 1) Waterless Wash 2) Leaves behind no residue behind to allow for immediate paint correction 3) Can be diluted enough to be safe and not remote wax/clear coat 4) Safe to be used as Clay...
