UPS man just came about 5 min ago and this is what he brought! Nothing big but I've been waiting so long to finally try some UWW. Plus I had to get some sorta shirt to represent my craziness :xyxthumbs:
Wow never seen this before. Cool to see that over the years there has been so many younger members. Personally I am 17 and started out by working on my car when I got it for Christmas. I was super excited for my car and didn't expect to get such a nice first car. I am slowly building up my...
I have the MB Tex or "pleather" on my 2013 C250 and I found that it is super easy to clean with a damp cloth or even mix in a little APC. I personally like to top it with some Meguiar's Natural Shine dressing to restore that factory look.
Thanks Matt Erhorn for yr kind words
Is it so
In fact I was talking to my dealer and I heard that supposably it's like only 1 in every 50 get those headlights. I wasn't able to get them unfortunately though as seen in my pic. This was after my last full detail but before my new wheels.
Honestly I just bought the Nanoskin Wash Mitt which is basically the clay block your talking about, and it's phenomenal. It's at least twice as fast as claying and is easier to use, only downside is not being able to see all the stuff you pull off.
Funny that you mention both the C class and the carpeted rear wells. My C250 has that and it's a pain to clean. But I just pressure wash them every other week then turn the front wheels or jack the car up.
I love Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax even though that's also a sealant. Don't use #26, I've tried it and it made a kind yellow tint on my white paint. Works great though on black paint.
You don't need to, some people feel that adding a layer of wax gives the paint a warm glow that a sealant doesn't provide. Like Mario said though, it's useless if you don't see or feel the need to do it.
