You can use PO85RD with almost all the pads in the world. But if I would narrow it down, it would be with soft foam pads. So yes, a flat black LC pad would be just perfect.

Power finish with a green LC and why not Megs 205 with yellow megs pad, or vice verca?

+1 on the Power finish. This is almost the only polish I am using these days. Great cut with a cutting/wool pad and great finish with a finishing pad. Use it with a medium foam pad( like green LC/yellow meguiars)and then seal the paint a perfect one stepper polish. You could always follow it up...

The paint cleaner will handle the "polishing oils". But I always wash the car with a heavy alkalie and give it a proper IPA wipe down.

I have good connections @ Menzerna, but they are walking their own way, so to speak...

Great information, Mike! But I would NOT use a 8,5" wool pad with the Flex rotary, it can barly handle 6.5".

I have finished out marr free with a foamed wool and yellow cutting pads with Menzerna PO203S. I did multiple wipe downs with IPA, 3M adhesive remover and Acrysol. No swirls no marring.

I dont want to be a besserwisser but this chart is not correct according to Menzerna Germany....

Honestly, I havent tried the 105 and 205 :o but I will in the near future. I have just heard great things about that combo so I have high hopes :D
