I use IA after polishing and then go to LSP. If I'm not polishing the paint, then I use a paint cleaner.

Poli-Seal does the same thing to my pads. I can use a paint cleaner on the paint before using Poli-Seal and it still turns the paint grey. I think it is just the cleaner turning the pad grey.
