*NEW* Lake Country THIN Wool Pads - Heavy Correction Made Possible with a DA!

Yeah, you'd be wrong. Got a pair of the woolies this week. The reason I bought them is that even using a LC yellow pad or Megs MicroFiber (with M101), severely swirled paint correction just took too long and consumed too much compound. Since I just bought a new (to me) 2001 F150...black...with...

Help me detail and protect my car

I wouldn't worry about the aggressiveness of the Ultimate Compound; It's actually pretty mild when paired with a Lake Country orange pad. Frankly, I have been using M101 of late and it corrects much quicker than UC; is easy to use and finishes down really nice. Ultimate Polish is a nice product...

    My Homemade/Repurposed Detailing Cart

Thought I'd post up some pics of a detailing supplies cart I just put together. The reason I did this little project is because when I'm working on a vehicle, I'm always setting pads or products or buffing towels all over the garage (or on the vehicle itself), and then when I need them again, I...

    New CarPro Finishing Polish

Got some Reflect Polish the other day; works super! So easy to apply and remove. Very nice clarity. Does not do much to remove swirls, but great on compounding haze. This Reflect topped with Blackfire Wet Diamond. Jim

Got a 11 black stang to do this weekend- lookin forward to removing the dealer free of charge add on lol

I stopped by my local ford dealer yesterday to have the gas tank strap recall done on my 2002 Lightning, and while I waited I wandered the car lot. Kind of a foggy and dewy morning and they had a couple independent contractor types going from vehicle yo vehicle wiping them down with a big wet...

    help with billett aluminum

Water-spotted aluminum is a PITA to clean; frankly, none of the "white cream" polishes will do the job. I finally tried some "Diamond Brite" from Lowes (in the truck box area). This stuff did the job. Then I clear-coated the billet. Jim
