Plexus, one of my favorite products, leave smudges on our sharp 42" LCD but works great on my nec monitor.
I have found 425 or clearkote QD the best for the TV.
kaio is fine to use before you sealant or wax. even after clay a good paint cleaner will remove stuff from paint.
sounds like you are ready to tackle the jobs. good luck
pc and light polishes aren't going to do much damage but i find the majority of owners want clean interiors more than paint correction.
you can add that later when you have more experience.
ocw is optimum car wax. dg 105 is the sealant i would recommend.
what interior products and tools do...
kaio is a good cleaner. it isn't going to do any real correction. poliseal has very light abrasives and good cleaning abilities. both are good. poliseal is easier to remove. if you remove it with ocw it is fast and easy and gives decent durability too.
i would look at duragloss for cost...
figure out what your time per hour is worth. chemicals unless you are using very high end waxes aren't a big factor. it also depends what your market will pay and the quality of your work. if you don't want to offer full paint correction something like poliseal by pc/udm followed by ocw or...
plexus is a great product. haven't used it to remove severe scratches in plastic. I tend to use other plastic polishes such as meqs, novus, etc.
after you correct the plastic, plexus and a very fluffy, clean MF should be used to clean the area.
I have found that certain colors show off the sometimes subtle differences in LSP at different levels. I have a hard time seeing differences in light colors and silvers. Darker colors, red, etc are easier backgrounds and tend to amplify the LSP "filter" more. Metallic or solid also tends to...
I thoroughly clean around the inside bottom of all doors. Painted areas and seals. I also blow out/dry these areas very well. I hand wash these areas during every wash.
I also wash/dress our engine areas 4 times a year.
nice. both products sound interesting. wish someone would rep dodo in the states for us. pls keep us posted on how long the keep their looks and protection. are they side by side on the hood?
Not sure. There is another test to do. Anyone have a dozen hoods they could loan to me for a few months?
I like UPP for the slickness and OS for the ease of use (especially after PS). I tend to use OS on wheels and quick detail jobs.
I will hv to dust off the UPP and PC it.
