    Thanks I ordered the D140 to be able to clean wheels when taking off snow tires and going to summers. I clean the inner wheel as best as I can when they are off the car.

    I have the same problem and it seems to be much worse this winter. If you can bring them inside to dry them as I do then a stiff brush should get most of it out. I have a older air compressor that goes to 175PSI and I blow them off with that. In the spring I have put them in the washing machine...

    You learn how to replace brakes,brake lines,fuel lines and gas tanks real fast. Two years on front rotors and they are solid rust.

    I have a 64 Impala from CA and you can tell by looking down the side of the car that it's not from New York. They have to rewire the salt truck at least once during the winter to have rear lights........

    They started using Liquid Calcium in New York State on the roads. The guys putting it down say you should be able to hear your car rust as you drive...................

    RaggTop cleaner has worked very well for me in the past. On my Wife's Camaro I have used RaggTop after it had been cleaned but often wondered if I should use just clear water after that ?????????

    Yes you can buy direct from them. They have their complete product line on a steel shelving unit :-) Real nice guys the Dad Mike passed away a couple years ago and his 2 sons are running it just as the Dad did. I do not think that they let anyone into the factory, as far as I know.

    Thin is In for Collinite I live 10 miles from the factory and if you call them they will tell your to apply it as thin as you can.

    Mike passed away a few years ago and was a great guy. When my son was a Race Engineer for Indy car Mike gave me wax to take to the race for the team :-) His sons run it now and are doing a good job. I have been buying wax from them since the 60's

    For a few dollars more you can get twice the fixture from a electrical supply house and pick up a better lamp than Lowes or Home Cheapo carry

    You need to replace the ballast with T8 ballast. Easy job and I find ballast on line very cheap.

    Aquapel vs. RainX

    For Upstate New York winters the Aquapel did last longer than RainX As stated above the price is the big factor. I did pick up Aquapel at Harbor Freight for $6 but they have not had it in stock for a long time.
