Mike is 100% correct, but we know that :xyxthumbs: I try to wash the top the night before we are going to have a very sunny day so by the afternoon the top is bone dry before the RaggTop goes on. I park the car indoor to avoid the dew at night and hope for a sunny day in the morning.

You are 100% correct :xyxthumbs: I did get my bumpers clean but it did take a very long time..............................

On a Chevy van textured bumper after trying all of the above the only thing that did work was a APC mixed 50/50 or stronger and a tooth brush. Takes some time but looked like brand new when completed. Someone posted it on this forum a long time ago. Al53 or Sparkie may have posted it but not sure.

Don't hang your buffers by the cords. They have a strain relife but they still tend to pull out and short out the buffer. And as we all know we might be buffing on a damp/wet floor pluged into a receptacle that is not grounded/wired wrong/feed by 100 year old knob and tube...

Great family bussiness. I like the collection of old cans in the "Show Room" I gave them a couple old cans from the 50/60's from one of my buddys that have moved on. You must live right in Utica.

Very nice display from Mothers and great looking work on the wagooooooon. I think the pictures you post with your write up's help us, the average detailer so much. Don't get me wrong your write up's are the best but the pictures just add so much. Now all you need is Cannon to send you a camera...

Going to do my wife's this weekend with Raggtop cleaner. Have used it before with great results.

I dress them before storage because when I put them on it's snowing, cold and late and the last thing I would do is dress them. Not that it make a difference durning a snow storm............ Need to get some of that Tire Bling the Spanish guys like :D

It was 80 one day last week...............Upstate New York if you don't like the weather wait a hour and it will change. My wife want's to move to a warmer location and get's call's from agency's.
