If you have a cell phone and have someone at home with a spare remote for your car you can open it. You have to find the reciver for the remote which is on the dash most of the time. Hold your cell phone as close to the car reciver as you can and have the person with the spare remote press it...

Tire Rack is a great place to buy tires. I have about 10 sets from them. I check the date codes and on one set of 4 one of the tires was about 9 months older than the rest. I called and they replaced it.

The tires I have looked at on BMW's seem to be a softer tire to make them handle a little better. Better get the front end checked on a 4 wheel machine. How many miles on the Z4 ???

Alice, Very good write up, thanks for all your time and effort. The interior looks like a big project on it's own, but the results were very nice. The overall job is First Class for sure. So how dose the dog put up with the smoke :-)))

The price is right at BJ's but they lack a little on the "Skill Set's" Try to find a place with a newer Hunter Road Force machine. It can even tell them which weight's to put behind each spoke so you cannot see them at all.

What's up with the wheel weights ?????????? See if you can get them to use tape weights on the inside of the wheel only. If you live in a area with salt it will take the finish off the wheel under the weight, had it happen to me.

I have been thinking about getting the 3" for some of the tight places. I can borrow a full size to try. How did your compressor keep up with the full size buffer, and how was the power vs a electric ??????????????????????? Thanks, Ed
