I think it also depends on what type of tool you are using. For instance, my PC takes alot longer than my Dewalt.

Thanks for the responses. I usually try to do one big detail a year and one or two other final polishes. I just didn't know if that was too much.

Would it be the same with the edge wool? Would I use the white wool pad on that?

I know this has been discussed a ton but I was looking for some fresh opinions. Seeing as I just got a new polisher and am moving up from the DA, using just the SIP and Nano with no harder than orange Edge pad and no higher setting than 1800, how long would it take to remove your clear coat on...

Looks good. It's amazing how much better it feels to use a good machine on the car instead of the cheap stuff.

Any feedback positive or negative appreciated. This is my first detail on my car using the Dewalt 849. I used Griot's clay, Menz. SIP, nano polish, 4-star UPP and finished it off with Souveran spray wax. I also used The Edge 6" and 4" foam pads.
