    Shelby GT500

I'm not a strip fan myself, but I agree 100% that this is a mean car! I think it sounds meaner than it looks though. Shelby did a great job with this model of the GT 500.

removal of old wax, before new wax - required?

If you are only doing it really quickly for a show or something it's ok, it just won't bond as well so it will mess with the longevity. It will still look good though.

    Started my sanding/buffing project

Looks great! How did you get the area around the emblems to match the rest of the paint? I haven't perfected that area of detailing yet, I get them ok, but yours looks great.

    Shelby GT500

I'm not really a Mustang fan, I'm a fan of European cars, but I love that Shelby, the sound of it is simply intoxicating.

    Shelby GT500

Here is my favorite detail so far, sorry Derek :) A new Shelby GT500! When we started this the car had swirls, holograms, and minor scratches. We decided not to do a show car finish on it, but instead to do a freshening of the paint. I used Chemical Guys V36 on an Orange pad for this one...

Duragloss #931 Rinseless Wash Mini Review

A shout out to ousooner2 for the free sample of Duragloss #931 Rinseless Wash with Aqua Wax. I used it last night and I must say this product is amazing. My car had been through two rainy days and lots of dust but DG fixed her right up. I typically use Chemical Guys Eco Smart WW because I...

    Shampooing carpet

You are correct and I also use steam or an extractor after Folex, if needed, but I use Folex as indicated by the instructions on the bottle. First I spray the spot, let dwell, agitate, and then blot dry. If that doesn't work I progress to more aggressive methods. I was just saying that if...

    Mothers metal polish review

I've use Mothers in the past and like it. I didn't like the smell though. Lately I've been using Chemical Guys heavy metal, it works good enough but when I want something stronger I reach for Mothers.
