    Wheel cleaners, learned something...I think

So, I have always only did personal and friends' vehicles since getting into this thing years ago, never recall any having chrome wheels. My new Colorado has nice chrome wheels. Now I've always used an all wheel cleaner or diluted purple power, etc on wheels. So now I have these chrome ones I...

3401, how much of a time saver in reality?

I've been using the old PC since joining here and learning all the cool stuff that's possible. So now that the bug hit me again this year I've been thinking about the 3401. As personal demands continue to take more and more of time, it's harder to commit to full details for family and friends...

Any wax, paint sealant or coating that works fills to some degree

Good info sir. I have a question, knowing it is impossible to keep my highly polished new black ride free of random scratches (is that what you call RIDS?)...anything to try to help cover those up? I've tried a few glazes, but of course they aren't doing too much for the above. I know for me it...

    Chemical guys - Black Light

BL is growing on me looks wise. Used it for the first time this past week (once by hand) and topped with V7. Wish I would have used D/A, then hand. Just checking how the combo wears. If it provides decent protection it will be great for keeping family's vehicles looking nice on the ease of...

Product Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight/V07 Combo

OK, truck sitting in garage still going on two days after applying. The looks for some reason seem to be improving, great! One thing I did was only use the V7 on the roof to see how well it performs and protects, as I hate waxing/sealing on the roof of trucks for some reason, unless it's a total...

    Favorite PBMG line

Slight edge to Pinnacle, Wolfgang close second simply due to Pinnacle having more types of products to choose from. But I've used WG since joining here and have always enjoyed working with it and great looks.

Product Review: Chemical Guys Blacklight/V07 Combo

Ha, I hear ya Klasse! Well, finally tried it last night. I just did a a good wash with Citrus wash/gloss to help remove old stuff. Didn't have time to go machine application, but... one coat of BL by hand, easy enough. Then the V7 really impressed me. Per looks, I certainly think I'll top with...

    Porter 7424XP or Foam cannon--OPINIONS!

Polisher for sure. I just use the old foam master (for hose) and it works good enough with the 2 bucket method. The PC is truly simple to use. I was nervous when I first used it myself, takes all of maybe 5 minutes to get comfy enough with it to proceed to polishing, etc. Have fun!

    Jetta: Before/After and spots

So, kid home from college and I did her Jetta today. Let me say, it was bad, worse car I've ever done. Scratches galore, webbing, etc. Before: After: And to the spots... Nothing helped them. I tried everything to get them off or ease the sight of them. Looks to me as if something was...
