How Good Is Pinnacle Sovereign Paste Wax?

Thanks for the reply. The car I really want to use it on sits in a garage most of the time so not too worried about durability as long is it is not gone in a month or something because I guess I will use it on the daily's too.

How Good Is Pinnacle Sovereign Paste Wax?

Is it really worth the price tag? I've been looking for a new wax to use on a deep red car and I read really good things, but is it worth 60 bucks for 3 oz? I am switching over from Adam's Buttery Wax and Polishes to Megs UC and UP and need to choose a wax. I have always wanted to try...

Do you all wash a detail spray rag after one use?

Thanks for all the replies guys! I'm assuming the vinegar is there to break down wax? Would you only use it for wax towels, and how much do you use? I'm a little worried about Vinegar making the towels smell/look funny?

Do you all wash a detail spray rag after one use?

Thanks for the replies guys, so do you just toss them into a can or something until you have enough to do a wash, or do you actually wash 1 towel? If so I imagine some of you have a few different "piles" to throw things in then? I put mine into a container a it was in there a week or so before...

Do you all wash a detail spray rag after one use?

Just curious what others do. I'm trying to improve my car care routine and was wondering what others do so I would appreciate as many responses as possible. Say when you use a detail spray microfiber for just one little smudge, finger print or light dust so do you toss it in the ready to wash...

Embarrassed to say it buy i'm confused...need help with polishes

Hey guys, thanks for the offer, I'm outside of Louisville but I have an update. The UC did a great job with an orange pad. I had to spend a good amount of time on it but where as last night it seemed to get worse, today with the UC it gradually got better and better. I'd say it is about a 75%...

Actually a lot of show car guys still do this trick, it is their glaze I guess.

Embarrassed to say it buy i'm confused...need help with polishes

Hi Mike, thanks again. I agree 100% with what you said, and to answer your assumption, no, the counter people know nothing, I simply just got it there b/c I'm trying to fix it today. If I wasn't under I time crunch or in the future I'll try to place orders for even the local stuff on here b/c...

Embarrassed to say it buy i'm confused...need help with polishes

Mike, thanks for your wonderful answer, I'll pick up the UC. I used 3M paper, 1500 first (I know too course) and then 2500. The thing is I tried the Adam's swirl and haze on a microfiber applicator by hand, and I rubbed hard and it seemed to make it worse. Now the scratches seem to extend...

    Treatment for black plastic trim

Hey I finally get to contribute, yeah! I was looking for the same thing and researched my a$$ off and kept coming back to Megs Natural Shine Protectant. I really wanted to NOT like this stuff b/c I'm kind of a product snob lol, but it is truly amazing stuff. I used it on my dash/console and it...

Embarrassed to say it buy i'm confused...need help with polishes

Ok, so I'm looking to take out some minor stright line scratches on my car. The paint is pretty much swirl free it just has scratches here in there, some small some long. Some from the original owner that are deep and I don't think can come out and probably some from me even though I'm very...

    Need help with wetsand marks...

Hi Art, well I couldn't find 3000g sandpaper, only 2500, so I was very careful and went back over the marks and repolished, and it didn't do jack****, in fact it may be even slightly worse now, or if not it is the same. I know the PC should be able to take that out, it is like my compound has...

    Need help with wetsand marks...

It is not an "Adam's pad", just a 4 inch round microfiber I picked up somewhere, I was just asking if that would be ok to use or do you need something special? If so I'll just use the PC7424XP, thanks.

    Need help with wetsand marks...

Cool I didn't know that, I'm not real experienced sanding though, which you would think I would have asked before doing this little spot lol. I'll try it by hand first and see how that goes, I have a small circular microfiber pad would that be ok to use or would I need something else? I guess...

    Need help with wetsand marks...

Thanks for the reply, when you say apply 3000g by machine I'm confused, are you referring to 3000 grit paper? If so I don't know how I would apply it with a machine without scratching up a big area. The area in question is just maybe 1/2" high by 2" long. I'll pick up some 3000 tomorrow and...

    Need help with wetsand marks...

But this does beg another question, back to my issue of the "original" scratches I was trying to get out before my wet sanding debacle. The car is 100% swirl free, it is just lots of little annoying straight line scratches that irk me. Some half an inch, some a lot longer like a piece of grit...
