    Isopropyl Alcohol, 70% or 90%. Mixed 50:50 with distilled or tap water. Used for final wipe down after compounds and polish. Available at most pharmacys for around a dollar.

    Mothers mag and aluminum polish is my fovorite. I use it on non-clear coated aluminum rims. Makes the surface shine like chrome. It is the best product that I have found to maintain the shine on my Corvette wheels. :dblthumb2:

    Morning of Experiments: Optimum Hyper Polish, M205, M09 and D151

    Thanks for taking the time to show the results of your product test. Another option that I use as an all in one step polish is Menzerna PO 203S. Used with a green pad and Porter cable DA polisher, it knocks down light swirls really nice.

    Glass streaks

    Sprayway glass cleaner and some cheap paper towels work for me. Leaves no streaks or residue. We use it on all glass around the house. Product is available at the Auto Geek store. Also sold in hardware stores.

    I read a post last summer on applying multiple coats of wax, one right after another. The secret was to use a chilled spray bottle of water kept in the fridge. Apply one coat of wax, then spray the cool water mist on a pannel before applying next coat of wax. I guess it hardens the previous wax...
