    Hood to be repainted....

You can polish it after a couple of days, but I wouldn't touch it with anything else for at least 30 days no matter what, except for a wash and rinse...!! Additives are for the getting the job out the door for the most part.

Their houses must be dirty too.. I plan on keeping my truck for a long time also, and I definitely know that what I am doing presently to keep it like new, will help keep it in great condition for the years to come. New vehicles these days have a built in expiration date..

Care of black trim after painting?

I would think you should be able to wash it after a couple of days. It would probably would be a good idea to keep sealers or waxes away from the painted areas for a month or so, as you would with automotive polyurethane paints. Looks like a nice product, did you go over any old steel trim...

Boat hull - prep and seal question

I would like to clean up the hull and structure of a nice 24' trailered boat I go fishing on all the time. Since this is somewhat related to autos with fiberglass bodies, I hope you don't mind this inquisition. I am dealing with unpainted gel coat for the most part. Would the Megs 80 with both...

Can someone define what a glaze is?

in addition to two agreed replies above, glaze has been mostly used on older enamel paint jobs also. Works wonders for those classics with original paint still left on them.

*NEW* DP Poli Coat Paint Sealant!

Sounds like a good product.. I'm about to buy some sealant again. I've been using the DG combo. I'd also like to hear more about this product vs. the other two as mentioned above.. I only put sealant on freshly polished paint. Then apply some killer wax on top of that..

What Sponge do you use to wash the car?

I have used the lambs wool mitt, but I do like the blue microfiber chenille mit better, especially on my truck which I tend to be picky about. It's also faster I feel, and less dragging.:buffing:
