    I'm kinda new here too.- and I am learning 1 day at a time.. if they have a clear coat on them, treat them like your body paint. use a paint friendly cleaning solution to knock the heavy stuff off., then regular wash and hand compound the trouble spots some guys will chime in on what protection...

    you can wet sand, compound and polish most any clear coats these days - one day later. but do not wax or seal for a min 30 days, some paints maybe longer..
