    I Hate Ups

UPS has a long lost legacy that they will never regain. After you make a claim with them, they won't leave packages at the door any more, they want you to sign for everything.. What do you think, we're gonna stay home from work all day to receive a package, "not" ... The problem mostly lies with...

    work in progress

Thanks for the positive comments guys. I just picked up an edge adapter for the rotary and a pad Friday and I am gonna try it out here in few hours, also have the Pinnacle Spray Wax now to keep the 2 coats of Natty's in great shape. Having AG close by will certainly affect my budget, but in a...

    Old adhesive removal

They definitely have a wheel eraser you can buy from an auto paint store that will remove the problem. then just polish and wax the area. I debadged my truck of a bunch of emblems, it's better than blistering your thumbs.:D

Waiting times for DG105 and waxing

been at it hard, going around my truck one panel a day at a time. Geez seems like by the time I get it done. it'll be time to do it again. anyways after all my claying, compounding and polishing, I applied the DG PBA and let it haze, then put a coat of DG 105 over it. I want to put another coat...

    106FF question

Can anyone compare the Meg's 83 polish to the 106FF as far as cut and especially the finish results? I've been doing my vehicle with the Meg's since this is what I already have, and using it with the white pad on the pc, and also doing it with the rotary and a blue finishing pad on the large areas.

    waxing and glazing..

hey Thanks for the reply! I've been clay barring the whole truck, then got out the rotory and some polish and have been taking it real slow, 1 fender at a time then applying the show glaze to it. I will be on to the sealant and Natty's blue here shortly.. I'll have some pics worthy to show...

    waxing and glazing..

I think I'm on topic here... I'm new to products and their usage, but I thought a glaze was used for restoring oils in the paint or clear coat after buffing with compounds. My current project followed this process after compounding.. I used Meg's #80 then followed with Meg's #7 show glaze. Then...

    cement removal

Extreme remedy! after you try everything else... This may be hard to swallow, but I recently had picked up some epoxy splatters from the road. That stuff is like iron, to finally remove after trying everything I could imagine, I had to wet the area with soap water and take a brand new single...

So you are not supposed to wash in the sun...

well - I found some other threads here and read some. my real question would now be: This water softener filter setup looks like a mini version of a whole house water softener which I already have. I don't use the water from it to wash my cars, 'cause I'm afraid of salt entering areas that...

What is this inline water filter all about? I have hard well water here, that is the root of my detailing problems here.

    which sealant should I use?

I'm getting exited about doing this, and then I came home after work yesterday, and the damn UPS driver leaves a sticker on my front door, and does not leave me my order from AG. I hate that, what do they want, I should take off work to receive a couple of pkgs. a week. I have the same driver...

    which sealant should I use?

whew! OK - after my Mag #80 put on the Mag#7 glaze or the DG601 and the DG105 not both before the Natt'ys wax. is that correct...? I really need the protection from the road and elements, I really to apply the DG stuff... and if I wanted a more showy look put the glaze on later, like before a...

WOW! lot's of praise for DG stuff.. I bought the DG 106 plus the 105 I can't wait to try this stuff out and on top of that the Natty's Blue wax... another question to ask! the new hood I made has been buffed and polished down to Maguiar's machine glaze 80 and then I topped with their show car...

    which sealant should I use?

I need to select a paint sealant to preserve my 100 plus mile per day truck. -- Dodge Rumble Bee - Solar Yellow--- I just recently fabbed a new hood, then painted it up with base/clear coat urethanes. I started compounding with an ultra cut, then a fine cut, then with Maguiar's #80, all with my...
