Heavy Swirls and the power of SSR3

I used a LC yellow pad...I did start out with SSR2.5/orange pad then moved to SSR3/orange pad, but got the best results with the cutting pad and SSR3

Heavy Swirls and the power of SSR3

Thanks everyone:cheers: I used Lake Country Pads Jen, thanks! I used speed 6 with slow overlapping movements...Just make sure to change pads often, SSR3 will clog the pads and cause excessive marring.

    help with compounding haze

What color is your car?? On solid color, no metallic flake, dark paint (ie. black, red, dark blue) you'll need to use a finishing polish/polishing pad and some practice to break down the polish completely to eliminate the hazing/micromarring. On metallic colored cars, they are more...

    OK to Polish

It's been years since using Adams products but if I remember right his Swirl remover is very mild and full of fillers...but I still would not recommend polishing every week even with a finishing polish. Proper washing and drying is very important, so here is what I'd recommend: Start with...

    OK to Polish

Depnds what you mean by polish.. I would not use an abrasive polish more then a couple of times a year...Remember every time you polish you remove a minute layer of clear/paint and if you polish too much you could cause premature clear coat failure. Here is what I'd recommend: A non...

    New PC

The PC does cause the pad to spin...but the spinning of the pad is from centrifugal force. This spinning is not fast enough to do any paint correction, though. Since this is caused by centrifugal force I can hold the pad even at speed 6 and prevent it from spinning. The bigger the pad the...

Help on a red 2000 Neon with bumper issue

Thanks! I used all Poorboy products on the paint - SSR2.5, SSR1, and EX I've used both and VM has more cleaning abilities then CK Cream wax but Cream wax offers more protection.

Help on a red 2000 Neon with bumper issue

Thanks, here are some more shots of the Neon Detailed Cars Pictures ...They weren't faded, pink like some I've seen but they were very oxidized and dull. Good luck!

Help on a red 2000 Neon with bumper issue

I did a red Neon a while back with some oxidized and faded bumpers. They weren't too badly faded but VM, with a terry applicator, and some elbow grease helped remove the oxidation and bring back some of the shine.

    Bad results on Detailer Sprays...

S&W is great...it has saved me many of hours of washing that beast!! Your Welcome. That was pushing the limits for S&W but I turned the the MF every pass and used a clean one for a final buff and it left no marring. Now remember not to try to push the limits with a normal QD, it...

    Trouble with exterior trim

I apply it by hand, but you need to work it in, you can't just wipe it on and off. sry for "hijacking" I have CVM that I got for free and have never used it, how is it as a glaze under something like Liquid Souveran? VM works and looks great under any carnauba.

    Trouble with exterior trim

Have you tried Poorboys Bold & Bright? IMO it has the same appearance as Z16 just a little more of a matte finish. I use Clearkote Vanilla Moose to clean all my external plastic and trim. It works great at removing discoloration, oxidation and dirt from rubber and plastic.

    Bad results on Detailer Sprays...

I wouldn't use a QD on anything more then light dusting. You might want to look as some Poorboy's Spray & Wipe I've had great luck with it : Below are pictures of what I've used Spray & Wipe on safely without marring...make sure to use plenty of MF, turn often and don't use pressure when...
