    Pinnacle Line Video

Speed of movement, pressure & time (working the polish in) will all vary and will depend on the imperfections needed to be removed and polish/pad combo used. For normal washing and drying induced spiderwebbing I find there is no need to have the movement so slow and that speed works fine...

    ClearKote Carnauba Wax - anyone?

It's one of my favorite waxes, good durability & easy on and off. It give a less reflective more darkening appearance to the paint...it's a great wax for that deep wet look. Here are some shots with CMW:

    No more beef jerky

No apology needed  I understand what you are saying because in theory, you are correct....bacteria on beef is usually only formed on the surface of the meat and doesn't penetrate to the center...but sitting out in 60-90 degrees is the ideal breeding ground for ANY type of bacteria to...

    No more beef jerky

I see what you are saying but it's not true. First, depending on the temp of the house the meat will spoil within a couple of days, rendering it inedible anyway. Second even if it does not spoil and is edible, there are bacterias that produce toxins and/or spores that are heat resistant...so...

    Pinnacle Souveran Spray

Well yes, CM is a QD now and not a spray wax. It can be used as a "maintenance" QD to remove light dusting, finger prints, etc. but it does enhance the gloss and slickness of the paint. The Liquid Souveran Spray Wax is Pinnacle's new spray wax. This can be used as a stand alone wax or a...

    Pinnacle Souveran Spray

Souveran spray wax is that, a spray wax and can be used as a stand alone spray wax or can be used as a wax booster to prolong the life of your existing carnauba wax. Crystal Mist is more of a true quick detailer and is used for more maintenance i.e. in between washing, remove smudges, finger...

    pictures from philly

Great shots! The most important part of taking shots like this is a tripod. To get the star effect from the lights use a low aperture (higher F/stop number). Use different shutter speed and aperture until you get the right look (not under or over exposed)

    Light Dust.......

Here is my limit of dust for a normal QD Anything more then this I'd step it up to S&W And here is my limits for S&W:

    Light Dust.......

It depends on the amount of dust...it's fine to use a QD on light dusting, just make sure to use multiple MF's. Anything heavier then light dusting I'd wash it or use something like Poorboy's S&W.

I just got a new digital camera!

There should be a RAW conversion software with the bundle, if so it will let you adjust your exposure, WB, color, etc before editing it with software... CS or CS2 will convert them and I think Adobe Elements converts RAW files too.

I just got a new digital camera!

Congrats on the camera! You can't go wrong with any of the DLSR's available today. Yes, a good lens will set you back 2x-5x the cost of the body, but there are some inexpensive lenses available too. Great picture also. I'd recommend playing with the white balance though. You can set...

Anyone use a USB GPS device?

I was looking at Gramin and DeLorme but ended up going with MS Streets & Trips 2007 for the price - $69.00 (Staples $79.00-10.00 coupon). I used it while I was in Baltimore last week and it worked great. It had no problem connecting to a satellite even though it was raining, cloudy and the...

    Problem with my puppy...

:iagree: :iagree: It sound to me like separation anxiety and crating would probably be your best bet. When my dog was a pup, she wouldn't pee, she'd chew just 1 thing in the house, something small, usually one of my son's toys. We crated her for a few weeks everytime we'd leave... after a...
