    You might consider installing a longer cord when replacing. That is what I did with my old Makita. A lot of the time I don't need a extension cord.

    It is not that I am not happy with Zanio just making sure it is the best for the deep shine. I have always tried to keep an open mind to try something. Zanio does give me the deep look I like and I find it easy to use, less is more. Use z2 and accelerator. :buffing:

    Mike thanks for the write up. I will study it, and me and my old makita and wool pads have burnt through a few single coat paint jobs in the day. I am trying to get as high shine as possible. Maybe the Zanio is what I should stay with. The vette is a 1.5" wider than a zr1. The thing in the back...

    Just one thing I might add about clear. It is amazing how brand new cars can have different hardness of the clear coat, even with same brand like GM, ford, etc.

    The car has 40,000 miles of grime on it. With the dirt of I think it is worth 5HP. :laughing: I sprayed it on then used steel wool, wiped it down. Did that several times. Then sprayed it again and used brushes in hard to get to areas. The last time I sprayed it I let it set for a little while...

    I have seen that myself, using a vette to transport large items. I think sometimes they have chosen to buy a vette for their only vehicle so they have to use it that way and then there is others, that there is no explanation.
