I did the same thing too - washed both cars this afternoon. I really rinsed them well but I am going to try a salt neutralizer or something.

Right so you do package one, wash with APC and then do wipedown and you are set for coatings.

I would go with number 1 and then go home and put a coating on it.

Check with your installer for the PPF. Mine told me not to put a coating under the PPF because the PPF might not adhere properly.

I totally agree that is what I did today with my new car. I used the Pinnacle Black Label coating on the paint, the glass coating and the wheel coating.

Personally I would never own a car without navigation. I love the ease of not having to use a Dashboard mounted one.

If you want it simple and quick and don't mind applying it more often then use Optimum Car Wax. Long term durability and just one choice either a Collonite or FK1000P.
