A lot of times your hose water will have a lot of minerals in it which can lead to spotting, now if you wash and then it starts to torrential downpour then it will rinse all the 'harder' water off. I use a DS to dry to add a bit more pop to the paint so I always wipe it down.

I detail all year round, I especially Wash/clean the undercarriage when I go to the mountain. You should still be drying your car because the water coming out of your hose isn't the same as the stuff that falls outta the sky.

How many passes did you do with 105? I would try to maybe do a couple of passes, then do a couple of passes with the white/205.

Seriously guys its not like the car is slow. NOW that paint looks great, I have found the Mustang's to actually have pretty high quality paint with a decent hardness to the clears.

Also Adam does not reccomend their UCS around engines.

105 on an orange pad has always worked good for me. I don't think you need a glass compound unless you are buffing out scratches from glass.

I've gone through quite a few gallons of Adam's DS and never had any problems, especially with anything blue. Don't wash the new towel before using it either, what are you using to wash your towels with? This seems really weird. I simply don't know what would be causing anything blue? For whats...

That is really single stage paint? I didn't even think any manuf still used single stage anymore.

This is a great combo even though I personally use a non AG product as my medium polish.

Yea people have been telling me about this for years, I've never had any luck on actual hard water spots. Polishing with paint polish/compounds or using harsh acids are about the only thing that you are going to remove water spots off of windows. :xyxthumbs:

Mine's got a clearcoat too! I have to wash multiple times to stop the beading! Bunch of cool dogs on here!

I think it looks pretty cool myself. Besides it was a high quality job, not some diy'er. Of course the cool thing is that you can peel it off and you have your bright red ferrari right there. :xyxthumbs:
