I have a half finished bottle of wet diamond liquid paint sealant from about 4 years ago...Tried using it today and it came out all thin and liquidity. Tried shaking it up a bit and starting to thicken. Wondering whether worth it to keep trying to make it usable, or inevitably need to trash it...

The Lake Country sponge is definitely a better value, I have two of them. But it's much firmer than the BRS. I find it better with regular car wash than with rinseless wash, but it's a cool tool. Enjoy!

Also tried it for a while and wasn’t a fan. Would store it in ONR, and pre-soak, but still found the sponge to have more friction than I would like when going across the paint, and would leave lots of dirt leftover on my drying towel. Went back to using a bunch of MF towels.

I have the McKee Dryer. It works fine, but I find the design is bulky and a bit clumsy.

Looks great! I have a 67 SS/RS myself. Easy way to tell that's a 68: it has the fully black headlight covers (they switched to a different pattern in 69), and it's not a 67 since those have two extra little windows that pop open right in front of the passenger and driver front windows. Just FYI...

Looks great! May I ask, did you use a hose / regular wash method? Any concerns about using lots of water on an old car like that given potential for rust?

I find ECH2O very streaky, to the point that I've stopped using it. I have had better results with Reload when applying by spraying on the high pile side of an MF towel, applying it to the vehicle using the towel, then buffing off the with the pile side. If you are looking for a drying aid...
