    ONR convert!

ONR is awesome. I have really hard water and spraying my car with onr after a rinse prevents the water from etching. Its a miracle!

3M Clear Bra - Questionable Install

Polishes leave behind oils which is why some use an IPA wipe down after paint correction to see the true results of their paint. I'm sure the dealer used something to chemically strip the paint first as that is the usual process for these installations but I'm not sure. How long were those...

Old BMW: Just get me thru winter, then spring detail

Depending on where you live, I think you should just clay and seal the car. If you live in a snowy climate and salt is on the road, that's going to sit on your paint during the winter and you'll probably need to clean your paint again. So save the paint cleaning til your full detail and it'll...

    quick detailer than spray wax

ONR just isn't that great when used as a quick detailer. I bought it for that purpose at first and was disappointed at how it performed but didn't throw it away as it has so many other uses. I would recommend checking out ultima waterless wash or pinnacles waterless wash with carnauba. The...

    Too dusty for qd?

That dust looks really fine though. I bet spraying a liberal amount of a waterless wash would do the trick.

What to do....? Waterless wash and quick detailer.

I used meguiars gold class since it was otc before I found out about concentrates. If I go over my car with the pinnacle ww first then follow it up with gold class, the paint is noticeably more slick. But besides feeling good, what does slickness do anyways?

How To Use Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash with Carnauba

Theres an article written by mike phillips about bonding and its really a topic thats up in the air. Some products wont last as long as others while some have no problems being topped over another. Generally you would seal first and then wax but I was never really concerned about these things as...

How To Use Pinnacle Liquid Crystal Waterless Wash with Carnauba

This isnt a last step product what so ever, it was not made for that purpose. This waterless wash is used only to take off light dust and dirt without scratching the paint or bringing out a hose and 2 buckets. The carnauba is just an added bonus but is not even close to a replacement for a...

    The king of spray bottles?

The chemical resistant sprayer from US Plastic is one of the best. Its looks identical to the grey heads Bobby was talking about and I wouldnt be surprised if they were the same. The trigger pull is very light and smooth and the atomization is a fine mist. Best part about it is that the sprayer...

    'Hard' Water Spots on Fiberglass

In the future try spraying down the whole thing with ONR at QD dilution after rinsing it. I have extremely hard water and although there were water spots afterwards, they easily came right off when I was applying a spray wax with a microfiber towel. I have never had a car this water spot free...

My solution to $150 foam guns...

I used to do the same thing but later found it to be counter productive. I never believed in the foam lifting the dirt off the surface and a normal rinse with water never left any scratches in my experience. What I do is rinse the car then spray the foam on and that helps prevent marring from...

Topping BFWD with 845 AND Ultimate Wax?

It would be fine in theory but you should do a test spot to see if the waxes are compatible. Some waxes topped on other waxes become hard to remove or streak a lot.
