Not anything valuable but ive ran over a little plastic chair that i sit on while im working on the front end of my car, twice. Luckily there wasnt any damage but youd think I would have learned the first time.. Nope!
Edgeless towels are excellent for wax/polish removal but not that great for anything else. Same nap on both sides with a low pile that grabs really well so you dont have to press too hard when buffing.
The UPS guy made me pretty mad today. I saw him toss my 30 pound package on the floor from his truck. I had a gallon of shampoo and apc in there as well as other things and luckily none of it was damaged. Good thing AG ships with so many peanuts!
There's got to be a point where there's a long enough nap where any nap longer wouldn't really help at all.
Anyone like to use a towel with long and short nap by any chance? Or is it all long nap for this purpose
Wow only 1-2 ounces for you guys? Are you guys getting thick foam or just soapy water because that doesn't seem like much. I use 3 ounces of product but I only add water up to half way of the bottle and that's enough for a small car.
Hey guys. I was wondering if any of you designate a specific towel for waterless washes and don't use it for any purpose but waterless washing.
Also, does anyone have a problem with dirt stains in their towels even after putting them in the laundry?
To waste a little less time you can buy a garden sprayer and have it primed and pumped, ready to go. That way you don't have to keep pressing the trigger on a normal sprayer.
Im always having water spot problems on windows during the hotter months of the year. I have pretty hard water and no shade which are the two worse combinations. Right now I take a sprayer of distilled water and constantly go over the car as I dry each section. This seems to work okay but water...
Thanks I asked about compounding since there are scratches here and there that I don't think polishing will take out like on the deck lid of the trunk where my hand always touches.
About 2 months ago I bought a new white car and im wondering if I should correct the paint with a compound and polish or just polish only. I didnt know about autogeek back then and the dealer has washed the car about two times but from my inspections the paint is in good shape. When I shine a...
I think it may help to take the sprayer out of the bottle and spray the leftover solution back into the bottle so the sprayer head is dry and without pressure. I dont know if that would really help the longevity of the bottle but its just an idea.
I wish they sold the sprayer head separately...
Nevr dull. Its non abrasive, just a really strong chemical solvent that works really well. Its not going to polish up scratches and things like that but itll take off oxidation, brake dust and anything bonded to the chrome that dulls it.
The headlights seemed to be in okay condition to begin with. Do you think m105 alone could have restored them if worked long enough? Or at the very least starting at 3000 grit and wet sanding
Wow thats a great chart Bobby. Im surprised that citrus wash and gloss is actually the cheapest per wash. I may just get both citrus wash and gloss and maxi suds and use maxi suds exclusively for my foam cannon and citrus wash and gloss for the two bucket method. How does that sound?
I like carpro perl as well. It's water based and really easy to apply. Before I found out about perl I used armor all only for exterior trim and it wasn't that bad. The only thing is that I would have to reapply it after every wash.
