Meg's Final Inspection instead of Panel Wipe?

I guess I'm not clear why you're asking the question if you have already answered it in your own head. Final Inspection (and other QDs) are not designed to remove fillers. Eraser, Panel Wipe, etc. are. IPA is dirt cheap and Eraser isn't exactly exorbitant. Plus, it smells awesome.

    Power Gloss Vs m105

I used to use M105 quite a bit, but have switched happily to FG400. Less dust, more forgiving to use, and much easier to remove. Just too bad it smells so strong.

The love of a coating....and why.

I'm with you - my '02 Infiniti Q45 and the wife's '05 Infiniti QX56 both have CQuartzUK on them, and I couldn't be happier. When customers bring vehicles I've coated in for maintenance washes, I think "Man, this is great", because I know it'll only take me 45 minuets tops to get them straight.

    new guy here

Says who? Some products (i.e. M105) get quite a bit of assistance from spray detailer.

    C Quartz

There are three main joys to coatings, IMO: 1. Maintenance - it's SO much easier to wash\dry. 2. Appearance - especially on dark colors, it just looks like a deep, glossy candy. 3. Scratch protection - even traditional CQuartz adds at least some protection. Adding an LSP will negate a large...

is there any spray bottle that doesn't leak?

Agreed - I use these as well, typically with the Meguiar's Detailers bottles.

Question for detailers that have a shop or detail at home

Ohhh, I never thought about using the post's shop! We've got a pretty decent one here at Fort Gordon... I work out of my garage, I typically drive them back to their house\apartment\workplace, or they have a ride already arranged.

Need Advice- Swirled out C4 Corvette 1st time with SMC

As much as I love FG400, I would prefer M105 for this use (quite a bit less heat). Since M105 dries fairly quickly, you can regularly spray with distilled water or a detailer to not only extend working time, but cool down the surface some. Here's an excellent read on dealing with Nissan's...

I prefer waffles for drying, and plush for removing residues (compound, polish, wax, sealant).

That's kinda what I was thinking. I'm not terribly impressed with Reset for a regular basis, but for a decon wash it seems to work well enough.

    Rinse Free for Coatings?

Any recommendations for rinse free shampoos for coated vehicles? So far Meguiar's Rinse Free Express Wash (D114) is the only one I'm finding that doesn't talk about adding gloss\etc. It's mostly for my personal vehicles, they're both coated with CQuartzUK.
