You should keep them chemical free for at least a week......most of the wheel would be fine during mounting though the lips may get lube on them especially if they are low profile so, to be on the safe side I'd wait a week.

The Griots Boss Creams are all great, very forgiving (long work time), smell good, and no fillers......I would also suggest adding some micro-fiber pads to your collection.

If you are applying as an LSP then a finishing pad would be my choice......the only advantage IMHO would be speed of application.
