2017 RDX New Car Prep and Gloss-Coat Application

Looks great!!! You probably could have done it with less than 10cc....I prefer the blue applicator and you can feel the applicator kinda "catch" while applying, that's when you need more product. For high spots just spread/level with your applicator and for the most part you shouldn't need to do...

Using microfiber cutting pads on a Rupes Bigfoot 21

I use LC MF Cutting pads on my 21 with great results, I've been leaning on the Boss Creams alot lately....but have used Megs MF pads with FG400/MC2500 with no issues

    Opti gloss coat issues.

The blue foam applicator that comes with it is re-usable and reversable, (and the one I prefer) after a use I typically spay mine with APC or ONR at Quick Detailer dilution then thoroughly rinse with water. Per Optimum a 15% IPA prep wipe is fine.....but if you want to reduce the potential for...

    Opti gloss coat issues.

I tend to agree, when I use Gloss Coat I would say about 90-95% of the product flashes clear without need to wipe/level, and when I have high spots I typically spread them again with the applicator, once the whole car is done I then take a last look for high spots and lightly wipe/level with my...

    Klasse sealant questions/issues/suggestions

I don't use Klasse SG anymore but when I did here was the technique I borrowed and it worked flawlessly for me, as Desertnate said less the less you apply the easier it it to buff out but here's how I did it in case you get a lil heavy handed with application.....assuming you have an applicator...

Detailed my black car but imperfections didn't go away fully.

I agree with others who have said you should have followed with a polish.....I recently did a one step on a 2013 G37 (black) and I found the clear to be on the soft side.....when doing test spots I found using anything with more cut than a medium polish and or a light cutting pad would leave...

Removing Optiseal prior to Body Shop drop off

Why not just leave it, just in the off chance there's any overspray from the work on your car or others, it would may be easier to remove if you have some protection.....similar to how treat my vehicle's before I take any of them on a road trip....Ill throw a light coat of wax/sealant on front...
