I used my PC 7424 with 3" plate, LC MF cutting pad paired with GG Fast Correcting, cleaned up the light marring with LC Force White pad and Perfecting cream....its garage kept and the owner said he won't be riding it anymore so I just finished it with some GG Spray Wax....Left him with a sample...

Without seeing/feeling the material in person its hard to say but first thing I would do is clean it thoroughly with an apc or dedicated trim cleaner.......to me doesn't look like has a clear coated finish so I don't think it would polish out.....

Mothers mini-ball and Mothers Chrome Polish......the chrome plating was peeling from the barrels so I didn't want to go too crazy throwing too many chemicals at the wheels...initially I lightly sprayed GG Heavy Duty wheel cleaner then agitated, that got the light stuff. Mini ball and polish...

Megs Super Degreaser @ 10:1 is what I use....APC would do fine as well.....

Thanks....I do, usually because it doesn't take to much time to do, my typical customer doesn't expect nor think about the engine bay so when they pick-up their cars and I pop the hood you get the "wow looks like new" ......even though I tell them I'm going to do it prior to the job...lol

Yeah, I'm usually an FG400 kinda guy but the owner is a co-worker/friend who didn't want (nor pay for) perfection but wanted the swirls knocked down, and Fast Correcting Cream seems to finish down just a bit better than FG400 with MF Cutting pads... I was surprised as well with Mother Chrome...

+1 I made the switch from D156 and never looked back. D156 was great but I would occasionally get streaks which required an extra wipe or two to buff. Never and issue with Griot's Spray-On Wax.

Depends on the paint but FG400 when can get the desired results with foam, and Griot's Fast Correcting Cream when I need a MF cutting pad.......

Thanks Nick, good to know!! I don't have to be super OCD and tape off trim while applying the coating. I'll just stick to my dedicated trim sealant....thanks for the quick replies!!

About to give McKee's 37 Paint Coating a run on the family hauler (2014 Toyota HL Limited) and I was wondering if this coating was trim save. Did some digging and could not find an answer yay or nay. My go to for trim has been WG Trim Sealant which has been good and last a few months but if this...
