I have an update. He's asking me to come over and approve the final paint correction before he applies the ceramic coating. I have a little hope now that he's at least made some major improvements or he wouldn't be asking. Fingers crossed that I'm not totally screwed yet.

The owner was the one taking the picture. I only really have a good faith hope that since he admitted they screwed up the first time that he knows I'll blow my top if I walk in and see a vehicle with swirl marks all over it again.

Mine was just the base level or “light level” of the coating. Maybe it’s just marketing nonsense but he’s doing it for free and as long as it looks good that’s all I care about.

When he was talking about deep scratches, he was saying this in general over the phone. When I brought it in he said he would be removing all the surface swirls as there weren’t any deep scratches that couldn’t be fixed.
