I'm not sure how the newer Ford paint is but I would definitely give HD Speed a try. I used it a couple of times on my black '15 Sonata which had softer paint and had great results. I used a Meguiars yellow polishing pad and it was easy on/off with pretty good correction.

Amazing work! That car is in great shape and after you worked your magic it looks better than new. This generation of 7 series is still one of my favorite sedans ever.

It's interesting to see how the products perform in different weather. The Meguiars UFF lets the water fly off as the frost melts. I never take up 2 spots, I just find a nice end spot where I can park as close to the end curb as possible. Lol

Nice touch for the Caddy. Car looks great. I always loved those DeVilles but was scared of the Northstar. Lol If I had the extra cash I'd buy one and swap in an L32.

Definitely get a picture in sunlight. Especially with metallic silver, it's the best way to tell IMO. I did a touch up on my car and I thought the paint matched very well until the sun hit it. It looked like an entirely different color.

I love Blackfire waterless wash. I use mostly Meguiar's products including their Ultimate Wash and Wax Anywhere occasionally, which is very good, but the slickness and gloss on the Blackfire is unmatched from what I've used.
