    Problems removing sonax ex 04-06

Good to hear. How did it perform otherwise?

    Problems removing sonax ex 04-06

I bet it has something to do with the paint then. My experience with EX has been great thus far, but I was also using it on Audi paint (with new Meg's foam cutting disc & Rupes 21).

    Problems removing sonax ex 04-06

Having used EX for the first time a few weeks ago, the only thing I can image is that you're using too much product. How much are you using initially and after each section? Are you cleaning your pad after each section? I loved using EX and can't wait to use it again.

The Pad Washer Cart saves the day again

Awesome! Love that your kid is working with you and love the pictures of what you're working on. Do you do a lot of planes? Is that some sort of high-end/private hanger? I'm not in a lot of airports, but that hanger looks PRISTINE - as does the plane. Seeing your pictures has me thinking...

Mobile Detailing: Small Pickup vs Cargo Van

I've been mobile most of my detailing years. I've done the truck & trailer thing when I had a 90-gal water tank, large generator, gas pressure washer & all my other supplies. These days I've simplified what I take with me. Since I do all my work at customers' homes, I've ditched the water...

which coating is best for the first time using one?

What I've read must have been about the UK version. Thanks for the clarification.

which coating is best for the first time using one?

While I don't dispute that Cquarts is a fantastic product, I've seen numerous complaints throughout various message forums about the application process. I don't have any vested interest in any of them, but based on my research, Cquartz wouldn't win a contest for the most user-friendly application.

which coating is best for the first time using one?

Having used the new Optimum Gloss-Coat, I don't think you'll find an easier coating to apply. This stuff is just as easy to apply as Opti-Seal, if not easier.

    anyone coated a cell phone?

I coated the glass screen of my HTC One with Opti-Glass, but then I also put a screen protector over it for added protection. I've not had any issues.

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

Another thought popped into my head with all this... I wonder what the status of Opti-Glass is. I love that product and hope I can continue to get it. If not, I hope Gloss-Coat works on glass.

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

I work a full-time job and only detail part-time. Being a mobile detailer in Central Indiana means I can only offer my services part of the year (8 months out of 12, at best). Saturday's are my OC days. I'd love to be able to do 24 OC jobs each year, but the demand just isn't there, at least...

Opticoat 2.0 discontinued, OptiCoat Pro sees price increase

I'm a huge OPT fan, but they are all over the map when it comes to having a plan. How many times have we seen the coating re-named & the "plan" re-imagined (territories anyone)? Seems to me their long-term vision is just to wing it as they go. I think part of the problem is that their...

    Interior Detailing Price Help

Sanson - A wipe down for me is just what it implies. Spray Meg's QID on the door panel & wipe it down with a MF towel. Spray it on the dash & console and then wipe it down. I can still "clean" vents, cup holders, etc. by doing this. However, this type of service is not meant for a car that...

    Interior Detailing Price Help

As Kengo stated, go by your hourly rate and then figure out how long it'll take you to perform said services. You could also offer two different levels - basic & complete. Basic would be a vac, wipe-down with Meg's QID, & the glass. Complete would add shampooing, cleaning everything with...
