I bet it has something to do with the paint then. My experience with EX has been great thus far, but I was also using it on Audi paint (with new Meg's foam cutting disc & Rupes 21).

Having used EX for the first time a few weeks ago, the only thing I can image is that you're using too much product. How much are you using initially and after each section? Are you cleaning your pad after each section? I loved using EX and can't wait to use it again.

Awesome! Love that your kid is working with you and love the pictures of what you're working on. Do you do a lot of planes? Is that some sort of high-end/private hanger? I'm not in a lot of airports, but that hanger looks PRISTINE - as does the plane. Seeing your pictures has me thinking...

While I don't dispute that Cquarts is a fantastic product, I've seen numerous complaints throughout various message forums about the application process. I don't have any vested interest in any of them, but based on my research, Cquartz wouldn't win a contest for the most user-friendly application.

Having used the new Optimum Gloss-Coat, I don't think you'll find an easier coating to apply. This stuff is just as easy to apply as Opti-Seal, if not easier.

I coated the glass screen of my HTC One with Opti-Glass, but then I also put a screen protector over it for added protection. I've not had any issues.
