Review: EcoTouch Dashboard + Trim Cleaner

Thanks. I read your review and I thought it was good. Convinced me that Wash + Polish won't stand a chance against ONR.

    Quick Reviews : Optimum Products

I've seen one guy say he's using a Wagner Wideshot paint sprayer to do the job. I believe he paid somewhere around $60 for it on ebay.

Review: EcoTouch Dashboard + Trim Cleaner

I was given a free sample of this product and agreed to post an honest review so here it is. I used this product to test the cleaning ability on our Mazda3's dashboard. I had applied Optimum Protectant Plus at least 3 months ago (which was still going strong). I sprayed EcoTouch D+T Cleaner...

    Quick Reviews : Optimum Products

FYI to everyone reading this review: Optimum suggests applying Opti-Bond with a spray gun running off an air compressor. If you don't, you're going to end up using too much product. Even with a spray gun, it's suggested to dilute 1:1 with water. This product is geared more towards professionals.

    FLEX XC3401 problem

I did not tighten prior to use. Only after I noticed the burning BP.

    FLEX XC3401 problem

Add me to the list of effected Flex users. I experienced the same thing this past Friday. I could smell something burning and then shreds of the backing plate started coming off. Today, I tightened the BP so we'll see if that helps any. My BP is noticeably burned though. EDIT: I forgot to...

any advice for a newbie in indy?

The Flex is definitely more powerful, but as you know the price tag is definitely higher. Do you want to meet up this week/weekend?

any advice for a newbie in indy?

Greg, I've got a UDM & Flex. Since you are pretty close to me, I'd be willing to let you try both. Are you familiar with Brownsburg? I can tell you how to get to my shop.

any advice for a newbie in indy?

gmcguy - What part of Indy? I'm in Brownsburg. I would suggest going with a UDM or Flex, depending on your budet. For pads, go with Lake Country CCS (orange, white, & blue). For polishes, I really like Optimum. Their more user friendly than some of those other high-dollar polishes. Plus...

For all of my Tree Huggers!!!

Since deciding to market my business as "eco-friendly" I've really had to be conscious of what products I use. That is one of the reasons why I use Optimum products. I'm glad to see that companies like Eco-Touch are starting to come around. I'd really like to see Eco-Touch products available...

Looking for a good cleaner/light polisher

PS for sure! Cleans, corrects, and seals your paint in 1 step. Plus, it's very easy to work with. A little goes a long way. It melts into the paint so there's virtually nothing to buff off.

When is the new optimum stuff going to be here?

I'm not sure what the old formula smelled like. I heard it wasn't very pleasant though. The current formula kind of reminds me of Meg's #40 Vinyl/Rubber. Maybe a leather or new car scent?

When is the new optimum stuff going to be here?

The one that is currently available is the latest formulation (better smell is one noticeable change).

one step or glaze with fillers

No problem. If you've used Optimum's other polishes, you probably already know less is more. Once your pad is primed, you only need a couple pea sized dots per panel. Another thing to know is that PS will vanish into the paint as soon as you apply it. Don't mistake this for it "not working"...

Poli-Seal will cut, clean, and protect. What more could you want in a one-stepper? It has about half the cut of OP.
