dawn will kill the clay bar... ive tried it for use as a clay lube to acclerate the wax removal... i was young and stupid, and short a clay bar... i find the alcohol wipe to be better at ensuring all the lsp os gone, and it leaves imho a cleaner surface to begin polishing... and then ill...

i find the biggest issue with being new isnt the products, its the pads... loudog nailed it though... the polishing also removes the old LSP

dont forget as the rotors are used, the pads embed material in them that will discolor the rotor... it just happens... shine them up by using them...!

even in sealants and wax? i understand a solvent is needed, this is just the first time ive seen a warning for any product...

as much as it sucks for people, i truly think this will allow the strong companies to thrive, and thus get some people back to work sooner than they may think... now if we can get the govt to fix it as opposed to robbing us in the name of stimulus... bryan, i think you have a great idea..

not to jump on the car color, i think if you had a better colored car that will show details in the paint people never see... a nice wet black red or blue... and maybe try a more common car to get people thinking that their car can shine...

i am going to make the assumption that i dont want any product with mineral spirits, unless of course i need mineral spirits only... correct? especially ina sealant or wax...

i generally will use mf towels and the remaining wash water for wheels...

same sealant as car... sometimes ill use an old tub of nxt also... ive only used wheel wax once and wasnt impressed (relative to sealant) so i saved my money... poorboys is supposed to be pretty good, but i havent tried it

once you get stuff premixed you wont go back... its so nice having concentrates or stuff that you will add water to mixed and ready to go.. i have a foam gun mix, onr mixed (1 oz in 1 gallon, i add another gallon when i use it to get the correct dilution), onr at qd mix, optimum gloss...

i love the ultimate quick detailer, i was unaware of the wax...
