anyone use a portable heater? im looking to get a 2 stall garage up to detailing temp in 20 degree weather... any thoughts?

dont use the drill, it will be the same as a rotary, and my guess also akward based on position... the bike is small enough to do by hand... ive detailed an electraglide multiple times (rider used poor towels) and by hand it was never a challenge (using applicators with compounds)

can you elaborate?

make your own undercarriage washer... pvc frame and some smaller holes in a row, or put the car on ramps and go after it with the jets...

interesting... ive used in on 3 different vw's without issue... i even used the combo on my grandmas impalla that was never detailed and only machine washed and it was fine... i will agree that menzerna seems to work much better, but i havent caught on to their numbering and process yet...

i have found that its pretty easy to spend $1.50 at the local diy wash and blast the salt off on the way home... ill use their rinse mode mostly...

i know the menzerna will do it, SIP i think... im not familiar with their products, but XMT 3 with an orange pad is satisfactory, followed by XMT 1 with a white pad... working it long enough left no work needed after the #1...

that being true, there are still many "fail-safe" combos of the many great products out there... what i was hoping to do was maybe even create a flowchart of products that are know to be great combos... i was hoping to get some more info prior to really deciding on the format, but well see...

common logic would also make this difficult to imagine, as they would also need to reformulate the product to be cheaper, thus investing time and money into an additional prouduct, which in the end would make it cost more than souveran to begin with...

ok, here goes... recently i had some work done to the car (panels painted) and want to clay the rest of it and seal/wax the car... the problem is the weather might not get above 40 for a while and i dont want bare panels. is there an issue with sealant application in low temps? i can...

i usually determine the best mix for each soap and do the following... take XX oz of car soap and place into a gallon jug (i use old washer fluid bottles) add the appropriate amount of water to make the same ratio you want in the gun shake like crazy with cap on and put it on the shelf, walk...

lol well, whatever it takes for one to match the other, but the manager there agrees that it is best to not touch the factory paint with the available technology and that i should be happy with a respray... when he said that, he implied i should be happy with the final respray match...

Not quite sure where to put this, so here it is... recently had a respray done on 2 panels (bumper parts) and i question if it is worth getting it repainted... the place will repaint it for me, but is it worth the hassle, or is this close to acceptable, and not worth chancing it coming back...

So i was contemplating, as i convinced a family member to purchase approximately $500 worth of stuff, that i should provide a list of what with what... my thought: gather all of my stuff, and record condition, product order (with pad/speed) and subjective results... my other thoughts were...
