    Interior cleaner

+1 for meguiars quick interior detailer or meguiars ultimate quick interior detailer. Both clean pretty well and leave my preferred finish of very very satin. I like natural shine as well, but doesn't clean as well. Sent from my iPhone using Autogeekonline mobile app

Thanks all for the input. Can anyone chime in about McKee Extreme Iron Remover vs. Car Pro?

    Need Extractor Requirements

This sounds like a good option. When I use an extractor I am using it to do a final rinse and pull out all of the dirt/grime that I just released by scrubbing, therefore Water Lift is what I look at the most. The 137" is very good.

For All You Rupes Lovers vs Flex

Hahaha.... I always love this topic. I could and have read all the posts on it over the years for hours. There is no right answer. I don't own either. I guess mainly because if I am going to do "heavy correction". I would reach for a true rotary. I don't think they are as scary as most...

What would you use to polish this plastic?

I've used 205 on plastic like that with no issues.

How do I remove scratches from plastic trim?

Hopefully the orange pad will do the trick. I read somewhere that someone fixed theirs with Wolfgang total swirl remover and got it out with an orange pad. Never used the total swirl remover, not sure what it's "cut level" is. I'd imagine pretty close to ultimate polish. Not sure I would...

How do I remove scratches from plastic trim?

If it's the wood or the shiny black, I'm really surprised the Ultimate Polish didn't help if they are light. How did you apply/work?

    Carpet cleaner

Probably a bit late, but what are you trying to accomplish? A particular stain removal, or just general cleaning?

    Best wax for dark cars.

Meguiars Ultimate Wax is my choice for darks. I've heard and seen good things on here about Blackfire & Wolfgang.

    Should I give up?

:dblthumb2: This is what I do also, if I use a blower at all. Couldn't agree more... Waffle Weave for drying, it takes little to nothing more than simply laying it on top of a wet surface. Deep Pile or "fluffy" for quick detailers/spray waxes. My general rule is use a towel/applicator...

    Pad cleaning?

I suggest watching this. It's 50 minutes and will help you decide the right practice for the right step. Mike does a great job in it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulWXODgg8V4

    Coatings - Thickness & Protection?

That's very sound logic IMO! At the $35 price point I am going to have to try it. Where is Meghan with one of her savings posts? :P This is the stuff your talking about right? Paint Coating, nano paint sealant, ceramic paint coating, nano paint coating Do you use the McKee Coating Prep...

Argument with family for detailing cars?

I'm petitioning AGO to disallow all of you "Warm Staters" to talk about the weather. :nomore: Nothing personal, its just jealousy! It's a balmy 28 degrees here today and that will likely be the norm for another month.

    Coatings - Thickness & Protection?

Thank you all for the input. I suspected I was being a little over optimistic in my thought process. Now that I know scratch protection is near null, I can start reading all the "What's Best" posts for coatings until I get sick of reading and stick with Megs Ultimate Wax refreshed often...
