Please help me save my car

hello and welcome. i'm no expert here, but what you might have is a case of the paint around the sticker being faded by the hot temps you refer to and the hot suns uv rays burning on it. the paint shaded by the sticker, did not fade. the bubbles, well i dont know, maybe the adhesive pulled on...

    Sealant Rates

i misunderstood the question. i thought you guys were saying you don't charge for sealant. like if i was gonna do my daughters car, i would wash, clay, wash, polish ( 1 step or 2 step depends how bad) then seal, then wax. if she were a customer i would do the same if that's what they wanted. the...

i'm looking forward to the results of this. i have to think the sealant over wax will breakdown fast, within a couple of weeks. the sealant under the wax, should last like a sealant is supposed to, like 3 to 6 months. cant wait. srhtx, thanks for doing this. i know it will be a pain, and take...

Buying the 7424xp as my first real detailing tool!

wow i'm totally lost here. 1st. you guys don't charge any one for a sealant? the time it takes to put it on, take it off and more importantly, the 12 hr. cure time, that is tying up your garage to the point you cant do other cars. 2nd. wax under sealant, this is new to me to. i don't see how...

Buying the 7424xp as my first real detailing tool!

sorry about that. i should no better, cause it has taken me some time to pick up on some of the lingo on here. your on the right track. get the 3.5 backing plate for the 4" pads, i think it's 3.5? if you wax or seal your rims, it will help with the cleaning. i use the dp... there i go again...

Flawless Perfection Detailing: Porsche 911 Turbo + Nissan GT-R (Smokey Nagata Tuned)

yeah! what did you use on that grey GT-R? came out great. i've used the klasse twins on a silver and dark grey car, it came out pretty nice. not as nice as yours though. great job. thanks for sharing.

yup, that's probably out of my league. i have a pc and the megs twins, and i hear the corvette paint is hard. you might need to find somebody with a flex (i'm gonna get one of those some day) and some menz. products. pm me if you wanna mess with it?

Meguiars Scratch X2.0, NXT2.0, not much change?

after the scratch-x, you should have used color-x to further polish the paint before waxing it. maybe skip the nxt, as this will remove (?) the polish. just use megs. gold wax. keep reading and save up for the pc, it changed my whole paint care world.
