Thats a good theory ... But I would think that the pad would be able to escape freely with the movement, and softness of the foam. Thing that sucks is that was my ONLY small white pad ...

Im not an auto kind of person ... Id rather have the stick. The 5-speed nv4500 (What I have) is a GREAT tranny. The nv5600 6-speed is also a great tranny, they added the extra gear in the middle to spilt the 2-3/3-4 shift. The G56 (6 speed) seems to be a good tranny. Some of the aftermarket...

Very true ... for him ... Im sure he will like it. For me ... 5.9 all the way! So does anyone have a clue about this pad? ... Im hoping someone from autogeek itself will chime in. Id LOVE to use these pads on some right areas ... but honestly ... that scared me!!

5.9>6.7 The 6.7's are great for the normal person ... Dont get me wrong. But obviously performance diesel's are like my life. When they went to the 6.7 ... too much went into it (emission wise). The DPF (diesel particle filter) alone took away so much power/torque. And man ... what a pain...

With this setup now ... everything is being pushed about to its limit, and runs hot. Right now ... It would/should yeild low 14's high 13's (nv4500 dont like to shift super fast, and 35's dont help ... lol) ... And thats without launching in boost With the new setup ... Ill be happy with...

Yeah dude that would be awesome! ... Ill have to take you for a cruise in the truck too. Its fun with the current setup (mid 400's) ... And I should be breaking 600+ with the new setup. :righton:

It was the craziest thing I have EVER seen while detailing. It was definitly not because it wasn't on good enough. It was actually hard to get the velcro part of the pad off of the backing plate. Like I said ... I noticed it starting to swell (WAY WAY WAY more than the normal "swelling" you...

Any one have a clue if this would be a pad failure? ... Or what could of caused this?

Re: Pad Exploded .. Thanks buddy! About 7-7.5 hours ... Exterior Only ... I did the interior last week ... Yeah the truck is pretty big!

While I was detailing my truck over the weekend ... I wanted to get into a tight spot ... and waiting to do all of these at the end. I ordered some of these pads Lake Country Beveled Edge 3.5 Inch Pad Pack not long ago, just for this reason. I broke out the white pad ... started with the Menz...

The more I think about it ... that is what Im going to do, just one rinse bucket with the grit guard. So can anyone help me with the Meg's Wheel Brightener ratios on different types of wheels? ie: chrome, aluminum, etc

LOL ... Thanks for the tips man ... I appriciate it!! .. I have chrome wheels .. so I am hoping after I polish them ... the wheel glaze will help "seal" that it a little better. Also ... The Megs Wheel Brightener ... whats the best mix?
