    Cleaning Between Model Number Lettering

Great topic, gents. Have never seen that rubber-tipped tool, but will no doubt soon be seeing it in my garage… q-tips work, but I can think of a bazillion other uses for this tool also. Thanks for the "tip" (yuk yuk yuk)!

Video: How to SUPER CLEAN your windshield !!

Ahh, yes! I've visited there! My wonderful mother took me to Québec the summer after high school, when my long-awaited French class trip to France was canceled. She is so thoughtful. Enjoyed Montréal, enjoyed looking at le Frontenac, and may or may not have acquired a french-Canadian street...

    3401 backing plate.

Dang, that is the second amazingly clever idea that I've gotten off of this forum today. You guys are amazing! I'll make one suggestion though… Rather than taping the edges, sand them, and apply epoxy to seal them. That way, you're actually getting more air in there, which will help keep the...

    MSDS Mckee's 37 High-Intensity APC+????

With all respect, I also hate to disagree. I'm a very agreeable person by nature . However I used to be an environmental engineer for a large oil refinery, and in doing my EPA, State, and local reports, it was by far easier to request a new one than to gather them from all across the...

Dealing with very soft paint on a daily. Argh.

That's actually a clever idea. Going to do laundry anyway, right? I may try that, but bet I could get away with the 4 to 6 that I have already. Should cut washing time almost in half. Thanks, man!

Dealing with very soft paint on a daily. Argh.

Gentlemen… I have a question. If this were your personal car, and mind you I don't know what the cost would be, but would you consider taking it to a paint shop and having it sprayed with a harder clearcoat immediately after you prepped it?

    MSDS Mckee's 37 High-Intensity APC+????

Jinkies, Scooby Doo. I certainly thought that 99.9% of the people who request an MSDS (SDS) do so because they're required to have one on the jobsite and it is missing from the folder. I guess there are a lot more armchair chemists in the world that I could have ever guessed! Who knew?

    MSDS Mckee's 37 High-Intensity APC+????

@Eldorado2K- those look like normal sentences to me… Still glass not done, but I'm enjoying the sunshine. Off to Super Girl's softball game now. @FUNX650- Right on, man! I have seen so many MSDSs is in my life, I know they don't have to list trade secrets, but I wasn't willing to break my...

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

I love the big yellow ones - I think mine are Megs, can't remember. Heck, for a dollar each, I could cut those up and sew new seams to make them any size I want. I knew there was a reason I had a sewing machine in the cabinet. Still procrastinating… It's such a beautiful day I can't help it.

    Incredibly Cheap Finds

Holy cow. And, yes, they're gonna be the same thing that is sold elsewhere. How big are they? Can't tell from the picture. It would be nice to have some quarter size ones rather than the big washing one. Can you tell I'm procrastinating on cleaning windows? It's my own vic, so I can be...
