    Local Marketing

Yeah, I understand the elevator speech concept. I see no reason why door to door would be ineffective though. In my experience giving away free stuff online isn't very effective unless you get MASSIVE exposure. I don't have access to that level of exposure. I think door to door in my...

    Webstie Building Programs.

Yeah, I know PHP and everything else. After doing a few sites for non-profit organizations I got pretty burnt out on designing sites. @Cobra - Don't really want to build another but, I might be able to recommend some pre-built stuff.

    Local Marketing

I spent most of the day today going to businesses around town to talk to owners/workers as well as to leave a few business cards on their desk. I'm also planning to go door to door in my neighborhood on Saturday. How do you guys market your business?

    Webstie Building Programs.

I'm all for "coding by hand". I use Notepad++ with syntax highlighting. It takes time, but it is necessary if you want to understand the innerworkings of a site. Also it gives you the ability to add more functionality. WordPress is my platform of choice. This is a bit bias though as I...

Not sure if you have noticed, but the "Gallery" page on your site looks like the demo Joomla page. Might check it out, probably just forgot to delete that page. Slick looking design aside from that! :dblthumb2:

    Working on a logo

As a former graphic designer I would have to say, simplicity is important here. In most situations your logo will be much smaller than it is on the computer screen here. The intricate details in the lettering will not be seen (and with lower quality prints may actually look blurry or smudged)...

What do I need to legitimate my business?

I did some asking around. The way I am set up right now isn't going to be too much of a problem. I will only need to file taxes for my business once a year. If everything goes well over the next 6-8 months though... I might upgrade a bit.

Warrensburg Mobile Detailing - First Full Detail - Silverado 1 Ton

I just detailed my bosses truck. Extended cab, long bed, lifted. This thing is huge. I didn't get any before pictures, and actually, he took it home before I could finish. The first day I did all of the interior and all of the painted surfaces outside. The second day I got all of the...
