    Detail: 2002 IS300

Nice work. As much as I like the new IS's, it's to bad that Lexus didn't stick with the inline-6's like in your IS.

    Washer Time!

I think Miele makes some of the best washers but they are more expensive and can't take larger loads. But it looks like you've already made your purchase. Can't go wrong with a front loader though.

I thought I would share some photos - 2007 Silverado

Nice work. How do you like Natty's Red? I'm debating what kind of carnauba wax I should get.

    We order our Vette today...

Alcohol remove any glaze you put on.

Working with ONLY a PC or UDM? How long?

It is very time consuming to polish with one of the DAs you mentioned. However I can not even imagine how long it would take to polish by hand and do a good job. So to answer your question, yes, it is very physically draining but it at least makes polishing a bearable step in the detailing process.

2006 BMW M6 Black Sapphire Metallic

Nice work. But why did you have to do all that work on a car that had been detailed a month ago?

    7424 order

Other than pads, you will need a backing plate, microfiber towels if you don't already have them, and of course polishes. I would say that it is worthwhile for personal use if you intend to do any polishing. If you are just going to use sealants and AIO's, than don't get it. I'll let others...

    joining 2 pw

I don't know if that's possible but the PSI and GPM would almost certainly stay the same.

    Harley Davidson

Haha, that's great! I'll have to save that one and show it to my friends.

    Mercedes Detail Tomorrow

Since the car has a hard clear coat, then you might be able to get away with just that one step. Just remember that rubbing alcohol is your friend (well, before an LSP anyway). Just wipe it over the surface to see your "True" progress. Good luck.

Sterling Gray BMW X5 with a Sterling Finish

8-12 hours just for paint correction? That's nuts! How much time do you spend on the entire car? Great work as always.

Guess what I got in the Mail???

So when are you going to start detailing it, lol?

    SIP and NANO-newb questions

While I have not used SIP myself (though I hope to soon), there is not a whole lot of damage you can do with a PC and an orange pad with that stuff. I understand it takes quite a few passes to get it to break down with a PC so you should have plenty of slack. Others who have used it can get more...

    08 Hummer H3

Can't say I care for the vehicle myself but you did a great job on it. Any reason you didn't dress the spare tire.

    Detailed: Ford F-350 Crew Cab

Nice work. How do you work so quickly? I'd have trouble doing that in 4 hours, not to mention 2 1/4.
