    Airport Service - Bad Idea?

I live about 8 miles from the airport. I'm thinking about offering what I'm calling my Tidy Trip service that would work like this: Customer is taking a trip, and also wants to have their car cleaned when they get back. They book the detail and provide me with the outbound and return trip...

Dual Setups (Mobile and In Shop) - How to organize?

I hadn't really thought much about the detailing bag, but that probably actually makes the most sense. Even in the shop, I find myself walking back and forth to the shelf/cabinet all of the time, which is a pain. With a bag, it seems you could keep pretty much everything you need in there.

Dual Setups (Mobile and In Shop) - How to organize?

I'm getting everything fixed up and organized in my shop. I'm doing mobile one day a week, and the other days, in my shop (at least that's the plan.) I'm trying to figure out a decent way to organize stuff so it's convenient in both "job sites." Anyone have any creative setups that you use...

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

You could spend the same amount of money or less and do a wordpress back end site and get it a little more "modern." I can make some suggestions on that side of thing if you'd like, but thanks for the feedback. This thread has helped me tremendously, and I think it shows that no matter how long...

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Thanks a lot for the advice, I'll dig into this and get this corrected and update some stuff, I see your points. BTW, I grew up in Stillwater, and my parents live in OKC!

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Good advice. I did find a couple of things that I could address. The issue I've always had with the validation is that it errors out on stuff like the menu code produced by fireworks, and the code fb and twitter give for their buttons. It doesn't seem to do a very good job ignoring scripts, or...

Tighter like this? Or is there something more artistic? I definitely need some better pics, and will take this to heart as I gather them.

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Love all of the advice, keep it coming. I need to do some better photos. Winter here is a challenge, melting snow every where. I found some pics of some earlier details that I can use from the summer, so that'll help, but I need to watch for the little things for sure. Thanks again!

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Really awesome feedback, I hadn't thought of a lot of this! Photos are a bit of an issue for me currently, just not enough cars completed that I took good pictures of. I plan to rectify that this week, and continue to add photos as they are available. You're right on all accounts there though...

Social Media Code for Your Website

I just finished putting my website up, and it occurred to me that some of you guys might find a bit of code useful that I'm using for Google+, Twitter, and Facebook. I put it in a little table, like you can see here on my site. Davis Auto and RV Detailing and Sales - Bozeman and Belgrade...

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Really nice site. I seriously considered going that direction with the "shiny" look and the high end cars, but thought I'd try this branding approach first. I love your site, you did a great job, and it really looks professional. My daughter is a total nerd too! We actually went to a "nerd...

I'm betting you're seeing a cached version of the background image. What browser? I'm assuming they don't look like the attached for you? home page and detailing page. Thanks for your help!

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Isn't it funny, after all this time, there are certain word that I just can't freakin' spell! desperately is one, maintenance is another. I misspelled both of them in this post. ;-> Thanks for the reminder, I need to do a word-by-word audit of the text.

Website Up - Thoughts and Critiques?

Great advice, and I'll definitely take it. I'll get some pics in front of the shop detailing, another good idea. Probably ought to get some detailing an RV as well. I'm just finishing one of the cars that I'm doing a "dealer prep" on. I actually bought it, did a full cylinder head/timing belt...
