    All that you mentioned will work, but I'm a little leary using acetone on my paint..I realize that its only one third, but still its a potent chemical.

    If it's raining and you have to go somewhere, where do you put that wet car cover? And to answer your question..I live in a Condo and almost everybody who gets a new car will buy a car cover and it may last a month or two.

    Most ceramic coatings will give you that shiny plastic look. To get that deep wet ink in a pond look use a wax like Souveran.

    No experience with Koch Chemie, but Wolfgang Uber is a good choice.

    Yes, the more lubrication the better. Use a lot of clean mf (10) to wipe and wipe one way only..use the roll method.

    Mild to moderate dirty deserves a hose wash. If not possible, I would go with a rinse less wash.

    Hope the Mrs. gets well soon. Isn 't there a filter for the heater? Or is the heater fan blowing the dust around? As oneheadlite suggested, perhaps ducting should help.

    On really soiled glass, I would use a MF and glass cleaner first and then final wipe with a damp Zap cloth.
