Paint fading is caused by UV. Coming from a state with the highest UV (yes Hawaii is a state). The problem lies in the frequency that the product is applied. You can't apply a spray sealant like Optimum and expect it to last indefinitely.

Use a good UV paint sealant and apply often. Remember you are protecting the clear coat and not the color coat.
