I want to get a rotary but im scared

Festool Rotex and Metabo is the marriage made in heaven and a penniless pocketbook! 500 for the Festool + 330 for the Metabo. Festool actually has the rotary capability up to 600/900rpm (?? not sure which one), so if you're only looking at that speed, the Festool is your ideal polisher. I...

    AG's 2am crew

I'd take the 3 hrs vs going 24hrs +. Its not like youre going to sleep exactly after 24hrs. More like 30hrs, right? If you're reading this, now you only have 2 hrs. I'll probably be up and just going to bed when you're ready to go. Still 10:00pm here in Hawaii. I got home about 8 from...

    Buffing with Confidence review

Thanks for the review. I've been eyeing the video myself and can be found locally for the Hawaii "geeks". But kept balking when I saw the price. I might actually spring for a copy a broaden my knowledge of detailing.

    Computer Gurus Needed!!!

Sorry, I guess I should read the posts thoroughly. It is something thats being loaded when Windows is loading. This is the hard part. Basically, unless someone else knows a faster way, you need to go back into MSCONFIG and find out what's being loaded and slowing it down. Only check what you...

    Computer Gurus Needed!!!

Boot it into safe mode (press F8 after seeing the BIOS) and see how long that takes to boot. If it boots right away, you got some funky software loading that needs to be removed.

    looking for product recommendation

I wouldn't use the tap. Since you're only making a bottle or so at a time, just pick up a bottle of water at the grocery store. Most bottled water is either distilled or reverse osmosis filtered.

    looking for product recommendation

DP 4-in-1 or ONR. I use ONR, but would like to try some 4-in1. ONR can be used as QD, clay lube, and of course, no-rinse wash.

You could try another online scan. Panda Software scans for viruses, adware, spyware, etc and has picked up more than my a/v in the past. The absolutely guaranteed way of speeding up your computer ... get a new one! :p

    Nintendo Wii

Being stuck on a rock in the middle of the Pacific, there was not much I could do but pay for an overpriced Wii and outrageous shipping. Ended up going the eBay route paying $380 in March (I actually HAD to because the wife wanted it for her anniversary gift) and have no regrets. I would pay...

    Head light restoration

If you're using a machine, any polish should take care of it. By hand, I simply use 3M Plastic Cleaner and more recently Megs PlastX.
