    The residue is already on there, from regular masking tape. It was for autocross numbers last week. Couldn't use painter's tape for that because blue tape on blue paint doesn't really work... lol.

    Yea, I think I'm going to take back the rotary and get the DA. I appreciate quality tools, but I'm not going to use this often and for the price the HF unit is worth it.
